小时候家里有一本挂历, 里面都是巴黎的着名地标, 像红磨坊什幺的. 其中一张就是蓬皮杜中心, 当时就觉得很特别, 心想为什幺把一个艺术中心设计成这个样子, 好像一个炼油厂. 去巴黎之前, 就看到有Beat Generation 的展览, 决定特别留出时间去看看. 从外面可以看到玻璃顶的扶梯, 那个红底的就是. ![]()

进去后, 大堂里面有个图书馆. ![]()

要上楼看展览, 要走有玻璃顶的扶梯, 扶梯在建筑的外面. ![]()

蓬皮杜在靠近春天百货的地区, 离塞纳河也不远. 因为算是在市区比较高的建筑, 可以看得比较远. ![]()

Beat Generation 是50, 60 年代美国的文化运动, 是文人, 音乐家摆脱传统的束缚, 开创文化新浪潮的革命. 现在我们很多看似理所应当的东西, 其实都是当时经过艰苦斗争才争取来的. 很多当时重要的变革, 一直斗争到美国最高法院. 是对人权, 文化自由有很大贡献的. 对社会的影响更是意义深远. 其中Allen Ginsberg 的Howl, 还有Jack Kerouac 的 On the Road 都是代表作. 音乐人 Bob Dylan 几年前还得了诺贝尔文学奖. 不过竟然没去领奖.
